Follow the Nelson Mandela Route, or the Rooikrans and Maden Dams offer opportunities for fishing and water sports. Alternatively, if you would like to attempt the 100 km Amatola Hiking Trail, the town is only 22 km from its start and serves as an ideal base to embark on this adventure.
