These beautiful stone-clad river houses offer a luxurious, relaxing and tranquil stay ? the ideal break for the jaded urbanite seeking an authentic country experience.
The houses boast a trendy open-plan kitchen, a lounge with a cosy fireplace, and beautifully decorated rooms and bathrooms that are the perfect bolt holes for romantic getaways. The interior has been given a contemporary kick with a palette of neutrals peppered with brightly colored soft furnishings. The swanky sundecks with sunken Jacuzzis and open fireplaces make it the best sundowner spot on the Breede River.
The houses are named after the owners' four boys, Joubert, Jan Albert, Willem Hendrik and Benjamin. The fifth house is called Coetzer. You can also book all the houses for your birthday and have a party on Coetzer House's deck, and even attach a bedou én tent. Remember to ask us for a catering quote.
Bath towels are provided but guests can bring extra towels for use at the river. The beds are covered with cotton percale linen and down duvets as well as electric blankets for our snowy winters. All of the houses are equipped with LCD TVs and Premium Bouquet DStv.
River Edge Accommodation is centrally situated and is only a 20 minutes' drive from Tulbagh, Ceres, Worcester and Rawsonville. Pets can also come on holiday with prior arrangement. Kids of all ages are welcome. Playing on the farm will give them bright eyes and rosy cheeks.
