Ruaha Hilltop Loge

Ruaha Hilltop Lodge is just 15 km from the gate of Ruaha National Park which has some of Tanzania's richest concentrations of animal, bird and plant life. The Lodge stands on the slopes of Ideremle Mountain and has breathtaking panoramic views. The area enjoys very warm sunny days and cool evenings.

Ruaha Hilltop Lodge offers 12 luxury self-contained cottages or ?bandas'. The front of the bandas are totally open and extend out onto a spacious verandah with comfortable safari couches.

The Lodge's spacious main house is unique in that there are very few walls. Shaded and protected by a huge grass thatched roof, there is a full-size billiard table, the Eagle's Nest for private dining and lots of cosy nooks. Meals are a moveable feast and are not confined to the formal dining area. Our trained chefs provide both continental and tanzanian cuisine using all local produce. We serve fresh juices and bake our own bread. Bush breakfasts and picnics can also be arranged for game safaris.
