Sagando Bungalows

Sagando Bungalows is located in the small quiet village of Michamvi Kae, South East Coast of Zanzibar. The beach is only 3 minutes of walk away and you will find the white, quiet and relaxed beach surrounded by palm trees.
After a long day on the beach or exploring the Island you can enjoy the view of the golden sunset or relax in our restaurant and bar surrounded by a lush garden, a bonfire every night and sometimes local drums. Drinks are available all day long and it's always a good time for juice, beer, coffee or tea together with one of our delicious meals from the restaurant.
All rooms are located inside our green garden with private balcony or terrace. We have 17 different rooms all with private toilet, hot shower, mosquito net, fan and breakfast included. The entire property has free WIFI.
If you travel by your own car, we offer our guests free parking place at the property.
Michamvi Kae is located in a bay on the East Coast of Zanzibar and is the only place on the East Coast where you can see the sunset. You can enjoy it directly from beach, book a Sunset Cruise on a local dhow boat or do a standup paddling tour in the fantastic mangrove.
If you feel like doing another tour we have tour guides who gladly help you to set up the perfect trip for you. We have everything from the famous spice tour, visiting Jozani forest and the colobus monkeys to snorkeling tours or visiting the caves for a nice swim.
Sagando Bungalows is approximately 1.5hours of drive away from Stone town and can be easily reached with taxi or public transportation. Contact us if you want us to arrange the transport or need further description.
