San Lameer 2021 is a villa designed in a simple, rustic, Mediterranean style and offers its guests a lovely accommodation option. The walls are plastered with low-pitched terracotta roofs and deep overhanging eaves to facilitate better air movement and protection from the sun and rain. The unit comprises three double bedrooms, each supplied with quality linen and towels and is situated on the lagoon front. 2 Bathrooms (Upstairs with Shower & Toilet and then downstairs En-suite with Bathtub & Toilet). The dining area opens onto an under-cover patio with views over the lake.The Villa sleeps 6 guests and has the following facilities:* Braai (BBQ) facilities.* Veranda with table and 6 chairs.* Linen, bath and swimming towels.* Kitchen is fully equipped with Coffee Machine, Dishwasher and washing machine/dryer.* Daily cleaning service is extra and must be arranged directly - request info on confirmation of your booking.Extra Costs:A fee of R450.00 will be added to the tariff for arrival cleaning and R450.00 for departure cleaning. A refundable breakage deposit of R1000.00 is also payable.DSTV available at a cost of R30.00 per day ? please indicate should you want to make use of this service in advance.Security Fee of R200.00General:Pool: 2 Swimming pools but during December home owners only have access to one of the pools, the other pool is reserved for guests of the hotel.Beach: The beach is within walking distance via the paths between the houses, but it is also accessible by car (the parking area is located a mere 20 m from the beach)Tuck shop at the beach.Spar (small) in San Lameer.Hotel in San LameerSan Lameer's biggest attraction is its safety - you are able to leave your doors unlocked and the area is protected by perimeter fencing and 24-hour patrols. There are lifeguards on the beach and the access to the beach is via an access controlled gate manned by a security guard. Lawns abound and the entire area is bicycle friendly.There are ample fishing sites and bird watching opportunities to enjoy in the area. Guests may also enjoy a round of golf or tennis.

Villa with a beautiful view by

Our family of 4 had a fantastic ten days in this Villa. It is beautifully situated in front of a dam with a stream right next to it; able to listen to the relaxing sound of running water day and night. Has all the necessary appliances and facilities for self-catering. All in all very comfortable, light and spacious enough for the four of us.Thank you for allowing us the chance to rent it. Will be back.

The feel of the villa and view over the pond was amazing by

a few small things could be improved:
the toilet seat was cracked and very uncomfortable to sit on
the sliding door onto the patio area was very difficult to lock
the fan in the main bedroom does not go fast enough, even on level 3
the smell of damp in the cupboards and drawers in the kitchen is very strong

Regarding the few points you have raised,

We have been planning the revamp of the Villa since last year and will start with the changes soon, this should at least sort out the problem with the sliding door, fan speed and ease the damp smell which is quite common at properties on the coast along with the villa being locked when we have no occupants renting it, however, it is a pity that we were not informed of the cracked toilet seat as we would have loved to sort it out for you ? We were only informed of the broken toilet seat after your departure by the cleaning services.

We do hope to hear from you again in the near future at least after the revamp, to book another holiday at San Lameer Villa 2021
