The Schaapplaats Cottages are stone cottages set in the sandstone amphitheatre of the Maluti Mountains, 6 km from Clarens. If you are looking for a tranquil family holiday in a beautiful setting, this is it. Theses sandstone cottages were built before the turn of the century and they provide comfortable accommodation.

There are three fully self-catering cottages that have each been individually decorated. We have the Golden Mole Cottage, the Jemina Puddle Duck Cottage and the Guinea Fowl Cottage. The cottages offer Old-World charm in a farm setting. They are fully equipped for all self-catering needs and there are braai facilities available.

Loved it all really! Especially the horses...very pretty goats and friendliest dogs on the world. Landscape is breath taking!
