At Schoon Huis you can expect a super relaxing stay with the most comfortable beds. The best food and we're not going to lie, a chicken might come to visit you in your room, as one of our bridal couples will attest to. You might arrive as a stranger, but will leave as a friend.

This beautiful stone house was a dream that Jenny Schoon, the wife and mother of the house, had in her mind for years. It took fourteen years to build, as there was only one stone mason who could still cut the stone. The attention to detail, time, effort and love that went into the house is felt upon arrival.

Attractions in the area are a host of wonderful restaurants, Emperor's Palace, Eastgate Mall, East Rand Mall, Bedford Center.
