Seekers' HaltMcGregor, Western Cape, South Africa Selbstversorgung | (POA) |
Seekers' Halt is semi-detached Victorian cottage, built circa 1867.
The cottage has a generous lounge area and a full kitchen. Both open on to a private veranda shaded by old grape vines and which looks on to the garden. There is a flat screen TV and OHDV in the lounge which opens on to the full kitchen and shady veranda. Seekers' Halt sleeps two in pristine white linen in the most delightful bedroom which has a small en-suite shower room. Fans are provided to cope with summer heat, and heaters are provided during winter.
It was lovingly restored by the current owner and her late husband who purchased the property some 15 or more years ago. Originally part of a farm, it retains its farm and village feel, but at the same time has all the mod cons that one wants in a comfortable home away from home.
