The Selous Mbega Camp is situated in its own forest reserve, built in 2000, and is set up along the mighty Rufiji River near the Mtemere Gate at the Eastern gate to the Selous Game Reserve. The camps offers rustic accommodation in safari Tents ideal for couples and groups travelling together.

The safari tents are all well-equipped and set on top of wooden platforms. Each has a private en-suite bathroom and a veranda facing the river.

The camp has its own restaurant and bar, set around a Mahogany tree, facing the Rufiji River. Here guest can enjoy a variety of different cuisines or so called Bush Recipes.

The camp also has a viewing tower facing a waterhole, from where guest can view the animal and bird activities.
