Sheppy Lodge is a self-contained, self-catering house set very privately in the bush in Marloth Park, quite close to, but not overlooking the river. Game wanders freely around and bird life is abundant with over 300 species having been catalogued in the area up to now. Access to the Kruger National Park is close by, via either the Crocodile Bridge gate or the Malelane gate. The house consists of two bedrooms with queen size beds in each, lounge, kitchen and full bathroom with shower. There are extra bunk beds for children or extra adults. The outside cottage has a double bed with shower and toilet. There is a lapa area with braai and fire pit as well as a dip pool which can seat about 6 adults in comfort. A small water hole in front of the house always brings a lot of bird life and animals in to drink. The house is fully self-contained with gas stove and oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer to keep the beers cool. There is both gas and electricity and ceiling fans throughout. All you need bring are personal items, food and drink.
