Welcome to Siriyetu Villas. Siriyetu means ?out secret' in Swahili and this unique property offers two self-catering holiday villas, ideally located on the beautiful Kasa Beach 38 km south of the Dar/Kigamboni Ferry. You are just far enough from the city to enjoy a secluded, safe and clean beach, and yet close enough to be easily accessible from Dar es Salaam. It's perfect for a romantic getaway; or a family or group of friends looking for an intimate, relaxed holiday location.
Each villa has two spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms, plus a daybed in the main living area, comfortably sleeping five to six people. The bedrooms have large shuttered and netted windows, bringing in the sea breeze and opening to an unforgettable sea view. An outdoor shower and Persian-style bath with Zanzibari-style flooring and walls add to the simple elegance of the villas. A well-equipped kitchen, open to the living area, makes cooking a social activity. Large doors and windows bring the outdoors into the home. The villas are powered by solar energy, and equipped with a fridge-freezer, a stove and oven, and all kitchen and dining necessities, as well as linen and towels. The only thing you need to bring is food and drinks.
Kasa Beach has a variety of marine and bird life. The villas are set on a bluff surrounded by beautiful indigenous scrub and forest. The abundant bird life is one of the highlights of Kasa Beach. Fish eagles nest in the trees below the villas and a variety of species grace the gardens of the villas.
Kasa Beach offers some of the best swimming on the South Coast. At low tide, the azure waters form perfect pools between the reef outcroppings. At high tide one can enjoy riding the waves, which are high enough to make Kasa Beach one of Tanzania's best surfing destinations. The secluded white sandy beach, stretching for more than two kilometres is protected on each side by a headland. On the southern headland, a desolate old German lighthouse and the ruins of a mosque are reminders of the past. A fresh water lagoon provides an ideal playground for small children.
