Situ Island Resort is situated in the most southern section of the spectacular Quirimbas National Park, forming part of the Quirimbas Archipelago. Situ is virtually uninhabited, apart from a quaint local village on the south-western side of our island.
The resort is only available for a minimum stay of seven nights for six guests.
The six private Chalets have beautiful sea views and are spread evenly from each other. The Chalets come standard with king-size beds or three-quarter beds with mosquito nets, en-suite bathrooms and various bamboo shelves with curtains.
The Clubhouse has all amenities needed for a tropical island; of which include a lounge area with full DStv access, power plugs with multi adapters and a honesty bar stocked with local and international labels. There are also hammocks and seating areas around the clubhouse.
With the abundant sea-life found off Situ Island, mealtimes are usually a feast of fresh local fish and other seafood dishes, with the odd poultry or red meat to add variety.
Activities include diving or fishing in the rich waters, exploring the scenic pathways through the mangroves, feasting on crayfish and other fresh seafood, enjoying sundowners on a traditional dhow, or simply relaxing on the powdery white beach. We offer scuba- and snorkelling enthusiasts access to the most pristine reefs in the area. Discover the whole island and experience the tranquil scenery and peaceful bird- and animal life, a photographer's dream.
