Skaap Plaas offers accommodation in two self-catering units for those on their hiking trail or not. Skaap Plaas accommodation is a great place for a weekend break-away in the country side. Experience the tranquillity of the bush, crystal clear river pools and waterfalls.

At Skaap Plaas guest can choose to stay in the Wooden Bush House near the waterfall or at the base camp in the Cement House. Here you can relax and experience the peacefulness of mother-nature. The rustic bush hut is a great place to have camp fires or just use the indoor fireplace.

The Skaap Plaas hiking trail is an accredited hiking trail of approximately 10 km long and takes between five and six hours to complete.

I loved the farm by

I loved the farm but was very sorry that we did not book for a week!! I will go back again once I have rounded up a couple of friends!!
 
We live in George and I call it a little bit of heaven at our doorstep.
 
The evening was stunning ? we have some wonderful memories, even though we only stayed there for 1 night and left at 7 the next day (we did a race at 8Bells)
 
The only thing I would ask is that you suggest that people use 4x4 vehicles.  We got stuck in the mud (we did go the wrong way!) it had also been raining the previous week.
 
Also a larger pot for the kitchen, would be a good idea.  Everything else was perfect!!
 
We never got to see the surrounding area and the waterfall but will be back.
