Spice of The Coast

Spice of The Coast is a small family-run hotel set 800 m from the white sandy beaches of the Indian Ocean in Diani Beach, Mombasa's south coast. Set on a large plot Spice of The Coast allows for privacy and tranquillity. Every aspect will calm you, and we will go the extra mile to ensure a truly memorable holiday experience.

Accommodation is offered in four large, luxurious cottages, and a two-bedroom ?Tree House' apartment. The cottages are spacious and romantically decorated with soft lights from coastal lamps, and designed with a mixture of old and modern African art. Each cottage can accommodate two guests, and contains a bedroom, a lounge area, a bathroom with a waterfall shower, and a private terrace. The living areas are large and tiled with Galena stone finished tiles.

The Tree House apartment features two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin single beds. Both rooms are en suite. There is a modern fully equipped kitchen and a terrace overlooking the garden. The apartment is elevated, hence the name ?tree house'. All of the rooms are hidden in a mature forestial garden, full of indigenous fruit trees, and with a centre swimming pool.

We will always try to meet your wishes, but trust us with a ?blind dinner date' and you will be pleasantly surprised by our daily fresh coastal fish dishes as well as our ?upland' meat. We offer a blend of various cuisines including a touch of the orient, Kenyan and Mediterranean dishes. We have various wines to match our dinners, served at the required temperatures. In our Poor Millionaire Bar you will find a wide range of quality drinks to suit all tastes.
