Summer Place Jugendherbergen Loge

Summer Place Backpackers Lodge has both private self-catering chalets and backpacker chalets with communal self-catering facilities.

The lodge has five Semi Self-catering Chalets, three Self-catering Chalets and a Flat, each with an en-suite bathroom, a kitchenette and a TV. There is a House with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge area with a TV and a kitchen. In addition to these there are ten chalets with twin beds that make use of communal ablution facilities, a communal lounge with a TV and a fully equipped kitchen. The lodge has braai facilities for all guests, as well as an entertainment area with a bar, a pool table and a dart board.

Estcourt is the gateway to the Drakensberg and the ideal stopover spot. The town is steeped in history from its past struggles and bares many historical destinations. Estcourt is near to Weenen Game Reserve and KwaZulu-Natal Conservation Park; these are great for game viewing and birdwatching. The New Fromosa Nature Reserve has many walking trails and places for the nature lover to explore.
