Suurbraak Schuur is a beautiful free-standing house situated in the little town of Suurbraak, lying in a fold of the Langeberg Mountains just beneath the incredible Tradouw Pass. Hiking, biking and visiting historical buildings are the main attractions of the town.
This double-story house consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is an open-plan living area with a fireplace and DStv, a large veranda with seating and a large garden. Secure on-site parking is also available.
The heart of the village has been preserved; the buildings that rest on the village square and the two church buildings have been beautifully restored. Suurbraak lies in a little piece of heaven and because it is not a commercial centre, it is largely left alone.
Today people still cook on firewood stoves, and use donkey-drawn ploughs, horses and carts to get around. The town truly exudes old-style living, and is mostly untouched by development.
Please be advised that any functions such as weddings, birthday parties or any party is strictly prohibited from Suurbraak Schuur. Should guests be found guilty of hosting any such events without owners permission legal action will be taken.
