Swara Plains Acacia Camp

Acacia Camp is situated in a beautiful piece of unspoilt land, only 30 minutes from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Set on the Kapiti Plains, opposite the rugged Lukenya Hill, Acacia Camp is nestled in a glade of shady yellow fever trees.

We offer comfortable and rustic accommodation in 13 little Bandas with their own en-suite bathrooms. The main mess area is opens with views of the garden, with good home cooking provided and cold beverages available at the bar or on the outside patio.

Bring your children with their bikes for a fantastic bicycle safari, something special that is not available in most other places. School retreats are offered at Acacia Camp, providing children with a fun learning environment.

The camp is fully contained within a privately fenced 20 000 acre wildlife sanctuary to which guests have exclusive access. The surrounding sanctuary hosts a resident population of over 3 000 game animals and over 270 identified bird species. Activities include nature walks, day- and night game drives, cycling and fishing.
