Situated halfway between White River and Hazyview on the R40, Sycamore Cottage is ideally positioned to visit all the beautiful places on the Panorama Route, the Kruger National Park and various well-known golf courses, not to mention just a quick stroll to the lake for bass fishing.

Sycamore Cottage is situated on the Hazy River Lakeview Estate and forms part of the Hazy River Reserve which also houses the well-known Hulala Lakeside Lodge. Hazy River Reserve is secured with electric fencing on the boundaries and offers 24-hour security guards, with internal patrols added at night for guests' peace of mind.

Sycamore Cottage sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms. The main bedroom is en-suite with a bath and separate shower. The second bedroom is also en-suite and both rooms have glass doors leading onto the patio with great views. The third smaller bedroom has two single beds. Features include an open fireplace in the lounge, DStv, a built-in braai, and a private splash pool on the deck. The modern, well-equipped kitchen contains a large fridge-freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Daily cleaning staff and child minders are also available on request at an additional rate.



Sycamore Cottage is highly recommended to all fishermen, novice as well as experienced, who would like to combine fishing with all the other activities offered in the Lowveld. There are numerous walks that have been signposted for those that love to walk and bird watch and guests also have access to all Hulala Lakeside Lodge facilities, including its fleet of two-man canoes, peddle boats, rowing boats, bass boats for hire for anglers, and the ever favourite "Sundowner Cruise."

Guests can also enjoy a la carte meals around the swimming pool or visit the well-known Rock Pub. Golf courses in the area include Nelspruit Golf Course, White River Country Estate, Sabi Sun and Kruger Park Lodge, and motorized sport and angling at Klipkoppie Dam is only five minutes away. The world-famous Kruger National Park is 20 minutes away, with Bourke's Luck Potholes, Pilgrims Rest, Mac-Mac Falls, and Sabie all within close driving distances.
