Tenikwa Family Adventure

Join us for a Family Adventure packed with fun and activities for the whole family. It's a unique eco-experience incorporating nature activities on our stunning 46-hectare property of Tsitsikamma indigenous forest and Cape Floral Fynbos, interacting and learning with the Tenikwa staff, doing various fun programs discovering facts about the wildlife and wild cats of South Africa, with comfortable accommodation in our family suites.

If you stay for one night, the program includes a boma or safari dinner, exciting night walk, breakfast and Tenikwa EcoKidz Family Challenge. However, we encourage you to book for the two Night Adventure to enjoy the full program, as follows:

Dinner on the night of arrival (weather permitting) is a traditional Boma Dinner and combined family effort. After breakfast, the family embarks on various activities like The EcoKidz Family Challenge, learning tracking and spoor making, enrichment programs and assisting the staff preparing food for the animals. After a very busy day, you will have some time to catch your breath in the gardens surrounding the family suites where you can enjoy the sunset, as the lions roaring welcomes the end of the day. But soon, as the sky darkens, donning headlamps, we head out into the forest on a nature expedition to see what we can find in terms of the awakening nightlife, and things that go ?squeak? in the night. Upon return, it is a safari-style dinner ready for you. Breakfast is served at Chesters where the staff seem like old friends by now, and then it is time for a quick shop for momentoes of your two days at Tenikwa before saying farewell.
