The Beacon is a self-catering apartment situated in a secure estate in Shaka's Rock. The apartment offers lovely views and is approximately 400 metres from Thompson's Beach.

This apartment can accommodate 6 persons 4 adults and 2 children, the main room with a king-size bed, the 2nd room with 2 single beds and a bunk bed. The well-equipped kitchen contains a fridge, a microwave, an oven with a stove, and a washing machine.

The Beacon is ideally situated within 3 km from the Ballito Lifestyle Centre and the Junction Regional mall, and approximately 25 km from King Shaka International Airport.

Shaka's Rock, or Catfish Beach as the main beach here is known, is only about 40 kilometres north of Durban and right next to Ballito. From Willard beach, at Ballito, one can follow a rugged walking trail to Shaka's Rock itself through a hole in the cliff - probably a good idea to attempt this at low tide.
