The Gate Gästehaus

The Gate is located 300 kilometres from Johannesburg, nestled in the low hills of the Maluti Mountain Range, is where you will find this true gem.

This beautiful self-catering unit comprises two bedrooms. The main bedroom is an en-suite with a queen-size bed. The second bedroom has two single beds. They share the en-suite bathroom. A guest bathroom is also available.

The kitchen is fully-equipped, the lounge has DStv with a dining area. A beautiful fireplace adds to the atmosphere for those frosty winter nights. Or opt for the inviting patio for a braai/bbq on those warm summer days. The kitchen area opens to the patio onto a private entertainment area overlooking the lovely views of the mountains and scenery for which Clarens is famous for.

The Gate Guesthouse is within walking distance of the towns square which is surrounded by all the wonderful shops and galleries and restaurants. It is a mere five-minute walk to town and is situated right next to the hiking routes of Clarens.
