The Great Kambaku Lodge is a beautiful bush lodge located in Marloth Park, a wildlife conservancy and holiday town situated on the southern border of Kruger National Park. This charming holiday town is a popular stopover for tourists travelling to Kruger National Park and is home to a variety of wildlife, including four of the Big 5.
The double-storey lodge can comfortably accommodate eight guests and comprises four bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, a ceiling fan, and air-conditioning. On the ground floor, are two bedrooms furnished with a king-size bed and two single beds, respectively. The en-suite bathroom in the first bathroom is fitted with a shower, while the bathroom in the second bedroom has a bath. The remaining two bedrooms are located upstairs and are furnished with either a king-size bed or two single beds. The en-suite bathroom in both rooms is fitted with a shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, washing machine, and dishwasher. The top floor lounge offers ample space for guests to unwind, while a TV room is on the second level just beneath the top floor, equipped with a TV with DStv channels. The air-conditioned main lounge, located on the ground floor, features a seating area leading to the swimming pool and the fire pit, where guests can enjoy a braai. A second, built-in braai area with an eight-seater dining table leads out from the bar area.
Popular activities in the area include game drives, game viewing, birdwatching, 4x4 trails, and hiking. Guests can also enjoy a variety of activities at Kruger National Park.
