The Beach Cottage is located in Ramsgate. This cottage has direct access to the beach and is surrounded by birdlife.

This private house has three bedrooms sleeping six guests comfortably. There is a spacious lounge with a TV and DStv, a dining area seating up to six guests and a fully equipped kitchen. The main bedroom has a double bed while the other rooms offer twin beds. There is a veranda with a table and benches as well as braai facilities.

A single lock-up garage for one vehicle is available and a cleaning service can be arranged at an additional cost.

Really well maintained cottage. You will fall in love with the personal touches done by the owner. It's well worth the price.



An excellent place to stay. A home away from home. Very clean, neat and truly beautiful. Lots of little touches that make it so special.

I stayed at the Beach Cottage for 9 days. And these 9 days were filled with the sound of silence. Could not have picked a better place to relax. The rooms are tidy and clean. The kitchen is sufficient to prepare any ind of food. The view is breathtaking, and the location is ideal. The ocean us a mere 30m away from the cottage, and best of all, from the cottage's garden, there is a direct access to he beach. I rested so well, that in the end, I was bored from the rest! Highly recommended for anyone that is looking for home away from home.

It was a beautiful weekend...everything was just perect Erika is a lovely lady ..will defnetly be back

Unsafe STAY by

The beach cottage is a very unsafe place . We booked as a family with kids. Firstly the cottage was broken in on Sunday , our phones were stolen contacted the lady Erika , she lives opposite the cottage and she did not even have the decency of coming and checking on us. Matter was reported by the Margate police. Are not safe

Thank you for your review on The Beach Cottage, and all the ?thumbs up?

I kindly refer to your stay from 25 ? 27 May 2018, and your incident.

As this was your second visit to The Beach Cottage, you were familiar with the security and the alarm procedures.

Unfortunately nowhere is safe and that is why I have an alarm system, outside garden beams, beams around the house and 24hour armed response with Wolf security. This is to ensure that our guests are safe and have peace of mind.

Ramona, you did not activate any of the alarms which include the lower garden beam, the beams around the house or the infra-red beams inside the house protecting the lounge , kitchen and dining room area whilst you are inside the house during the night. If you had done so you would have had prior warning and Wolf Security would have been alerted and sent someone out immediately.

You will remember that we were away in Pennington for that particular weekend, and therefore I could not be present at The Cottage to assist in any way on the Sunday morning. I did however spent several hours on my cell phone to our Protection Services who sent 2 guys out to evaluate your situation, and sent me some photographs. I also informed Wolf security and the Margate Police department. They both came out to The Cottage to take statements from you.

I know when you visit The Beach Cottage, it is so peaceful and carefree that one forgets to think about security, and I am sorry for your loss.
