The Courtyard Cafe has recently relocated to a brand new premises conveniently located on the main square of Clarens.

4 double rooms are located on the first floor above the café and bakery on the ground floor, with a quaint wooden cottage situated at the back of the property for families who wish to stay on a self catering basis.

the location of the rooms allows guests to securely park their cars at the guest house, and then walk around our beautiful village and visit the many shops, galleries and eateries.

Very very nice and neat. Will go back. Very spacious and private. Loved the balcony. Great that it is self-catering. We travel a lot and this is one of the best places we ever stayed in.

Pleasant weekend by

Our weekend away in Clarens was made all the more enjoyable by the very comfortable accommodation offered by The Courtyard. The room was big, clean and comfortable with a small patio offering a great view of the mountains. The owners were very friendly and we would definitely recommend The Courtyard to anyone visiting Clarens.

A modern, clean and spacious room was just perfect for us. Jane is really nice and made our stay very enjoyable.

Perfect location. Lovely modern room and en suite. Only down side was the noise from the fridges going on & off during night. Jane said this will be sorted out later. If not for that we would have giving 5* to all.
