The guest house has 4 sea facing rooms which enjoy spectacular views of the glorious Indian Ocean,golden sandy beaches and the horizon beyond. All our rooms are equipped with airconditioners, tea/coffee making facilities, an honesty bar fridge, TV with MNet & limited DSTV channels. Three of the rooms have Queen double sleeper beds, whilst the fourth room offers a lovely King extra length sleigh bed. The rooms are spacious, tiled and each one is fitted with both a jacuzzi spa bath and independent free standing rain shower ? great for getting rid of the sand after a beach outing! FREE Wifi access throughout the guest house allows guests to catch up on emails, or simply do some social networking while soaking in the gorgeous view. In the winter season we are rewarded with sights of the occasional whale breaching off the shore. A crystal clear pool situated just off the patio allows you to cool down on a hot day.Breakfast are served, weather permitting, on the patio overlooking this stunning view. Our breakfasts menu tries to cater for all tastes, with breads, croissants, muffins & cheeses. Accompanied by fresh fruit in season, yoghurt, cereals plus the full English hot breakfast to follow. Barbeque facilities are available to guests to use under the little lapa next to the pool.And to keep you busy, there are a number of scuba diving operators in close proximity to the guest house who offer trips to Aliwal shoal ? view Tiger sharks, hammerheads, raggies and blue tips. Turtles, stingray, potato bass all come along to show themselves off in their own environment. Beginners as well experienced divers are well catered for.Rocky Bay Mountain Biking Trails have a variety of marked mountain trails for both novice and experienced mountain bikers with spectacular scenery on Ellingham Farm. Golfers are spoilt for choice along the sunny south coast of KwaZulu-Natal with more than 20 courses available to play on within an hour's drive from Scottburgh. The 18 hole course in Scottburgh itself has magnificent sea views and welcomes visitors. A short drive to Pennington allows golfers the opportunity to play on two of the south coast's most famed courses - Selborne Park Golf Course and Umdoni Golf Course. Beautiful nature reserves, ideal for daily outings are Vernon Crookes Nature Reserve and Umdoni Park Nature Trails. The latter is an area of exceptional natural beauty and one of the last remaining coastal forests in South Africa. We are only a 40 minute drive from Oribi Gorge, with its hanging bridge and one of the longest ziplines in the world and picture perfect scenery. Just up the road from the guest house is the renowned CrocWorld Conservation Centre set in a large botanical garden, home to hundreds of crocodiles, over 200 free flying birds in a walk-through aviary, a snake tunnel and a farmyard with animals that kids love.
