The Kings Lodge is located in the affluent suburb of Northcliff. This lodge is set in a lush garden and has two swimming pools. It is also ideally located close shopping malls, schools and mayor sport venues.There are 18 rooms, each with a private entrance from the garden, en-suite bathrooms, DStv with selected channels, tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave. The units are available as bed and breakfast or self-catering and is available on a long or short term basis.The lodge is fully secured with CCTV cameras monitoring 24-hours, electric fencing surrounding the entire property and 24-hour armed response with a security guard at night.

The quality of your lighting is substandard and does not meet with Health and safety standards, it is well below the acceptable standards and mostly harmful to your clients and workforce. It does present a good image....modernise...one cannot conduct business and communications in the dark.(even during the day your front area/desk is dark.
Your personnel were friendly, attentive, helpful and accommodating, nothing was a problem.
The Location was perfect in terms of access and proximity to where I was conducting business.

Only suggestion is that the staff when preparing the room for the guests should be checking that everything is in good working order and if there is anything that needs attention that person notifies the maintenance team of anything that needs attention. Such as lights/bedside lamps that are not working. All these should be checked on a daily basis. No Reservation Upon Arrival, But Customer Service Excellent by Joni Scott 04 December 2018 Upon our arrival at Kings Lodge, we were told there was no confirmation of a reservation made through SafariNow. Luckily, I had brought my email confirmation and proof of payment of the deposit. We were just in time, as the last room had been promised to another gentleman, but he had not paid any deposit, so they gave the room to us. I'm not sure who dropped the ball on my reservation, SafariNow or the management of Kings Lodge, but it was handled very professionally and courteously by all the staff. They even checked us into the room without making us pay the balance. We only paid the balance upon our departure, which is very unusual. They went over and above to make us feel welcome. The place was beautiful and well maintained, with gardens and two pools, and the rooms were clean and inviting. Perhaps only a little more attention to detail could be improved. Our room only had one towel, and the ceiling fan and bedside lamp bulbs were burnt out. However, upon informing them, they were quick to rectify everything. I would definitely recommend Kings Lodge to anyone, and will stay there again when returning to the Joburg area. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere! Thanks for a lovely stay! THE KINGS LOGE LAGE
