The Lily of the Valley Hotel is the pride of the Rastafarian community in Shashemene, Ethiopia. Owned and managed by repatriates from Trinidad and Tobago, the hotel is popular among foreigners and locals alike. The hotel is situated right on the Kings Highway which runs from Addis Ababa to Kenya, so is an ideal stopover location.

Accommodation is offered in clean and comfortable single, double or family rooms. All of the rooms contain a TV, and a shower en suite with hot water.

The hotel features authentic Ethiopian artwork and artefacts in the lobby. The colourfully decorated sports bar offers liquor, wines and coffee.
