Welcome to The Shyre Luxury Apartments. The Shyre is a luxury gated complex located in the affluent suburb of Houghton in Johannesburg. Three homes have permanent residents and two luxury apartments are available for short and medium term rental.

Situated in the central suburb of Houghton in Johannesburg, we are incredibly central and most destinations take a maximum of 30 minutes or less to reach. We are near to the Rosebank Gautrain station as well as the M1 highway, making it perfect for those visiting for business and leisure alike.

The Shyre is an exclusive development on 5th Street in Houghton with an Award-Winning Health Spa located on the premises. The development is unique due to its magnificent 70-year-old oak trees and its awareness of each resident's privacy and space in its design. Gardens and water features have been cleverly placed all over the development in order to transport its inhabitants from dull urban life to a calm, tranquil and luxurious corner of paradise. These are not your run-of-the-mill homes. We also have a generator on-site to assist us whenever there are power outages in the area.

Both apartments have been designed to accommodate pets if required and Thistlebrook can accommodate a family with children.
