The Yard is a farm style house and buildings on a spacious property with a beautiful view on the mountain. The owners of the property speaks Afrikaans, English and German.

This property has different units to rent The Cottage (Self-Catering), BITS (Bed in the Shed) and The Vine is NOT Self-Catering. It has a bedroom with an on-suite bathroom. Katze is also NOT Self-Catering and is a dormitory with an outside bathroom/shower. Each section has their own separate entrance. The Cottage is a self-catering unit with two bedrooms with a lovely outside braai area. Has a Super King Size bed and sleeper couch and can sleep up to four people.

BITS and Stoepkamer is a one bedroom unit with an en-suite bathroom. each unit consists of two single beds or a double bed.

The whole facility can sleep up to 12 people if booked as a whole - but this has to be done in advance to make sure some of the rooms are not already booked.

Enjoy your stay at The Yard which is close proximity of beaches, shopping facilities and 45 minutes away from Cape Town the Mother City.

We loved the huge treesy enclosed yard, (our dog too! ))the absence of melamine and plastic in our room,the handmade details and the the genuine friendliness of the hosts who are helpful but not intrusive.Marinda has all the basics just right.

In spite of the adverse weather the Yard is ideal to get away from it all with your pet (Lucy enjoyed it immensely!) Not too far from Cape Town for a quick getaway - thank you Malinda
