Tom's Place is situated in Harrismith, offering newly built en-suite units extending the original style with wooden floors and pressed steel ceilings throughout. The units are all self-catering with fireplaces.

There are six Five Star units including a honeymoon suite and a family room, and six Four Star units. All the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, TVs with DStv, bar fridges and hairdryers. Slippers and gowns are provided for added luxury.

Enjoy an English breakfast in the lovely dining area or arrange lunches or dinners during the day. You can relax on the patio at the back, where you can have a drink at the honesty bar. Visit the info corner filled with brochures of things to do in Harrismith and the surrounding areas.

We are centrally situated and within walking distance of all amenities like shops, a gym, tennis and squash courts and the well-known Harrismith Golf Club.

Spent 1 night at Tom's place in December. I highly recommend it. Spacious rooms, well furnished, safe parking,easy to find directions. will see you again this year. CLiff de Witt (Haenertsburg)



We enjoyed our one night stay at Toms Place very much. The 5 star Unit we stayed in was very neat, nicely furnished and had all we needed. The surroundings are very calm and lovely with the big trees. The big old house is also beautiful. It is well worth the money.

We had a super stay. Great room.

The only thing that I would say was that we booked the 5 star honeymoon suite, and the website does say that there will be a bottle of champagne and a platter, which there wasn't.


Well equipped by

Exceptionally friendly reception from Johannes set the tone for a pleasant stay. The room was well equipped and  we had a most enjoyable overnight stay.
