Tranquillity Self-catering Cottages is set on 50 acres of lush farmland offering breathtaking views, a meandering stream and abundant birdlife. Our self-catering cottages are ideal for couples looking for a quiet, romantic getaway as well as for families wanting to spend quality time together in a country environment. All units are private and offer stunning views of the majestic Champagne Castle, Cathkin Peak and the rolling farmlands of the Champagne Valley.

Relax and wake up to the call of the birds, have a picnic at the dam or explore the Sterkspruit River bank. Be amazed at our bright, star-filled skies in the summer or enjoy roaring log fires and snow capped mountain views in the winter.

Please be advised that long weekends and public holidays will be charged at peak rates.

I booked the accommodation for my mom and my brother who was visiting from the UK. My mom raved about the place and my brother wanted to buy the place. They said that they felt so relaxed there and were so impressed with the accommodation and the staff were so friendly. They felt safe and were amazed with the views and the peace and quiet. Indeed tranquil. They were very depressed when they had to leave. I will certainly be going there with my family in the not too distant future.

We spent 4 nights at the farm. It lived up to its name tranquility. Dudu was very friendly and cleaned our cottage daily. We will be back.

Loved the area, the chalet Willow just renovated was great. There were a few niggles but did not detract from the visit. Really enjoyed the stay & Dudu, who supervised was great
