Treetops is a historic lodge that lies along an ancient elephant migratory route in the Aberdare National Park.
Recently refurbished to a fully inclusive lodge, Treetops now offers excellent food, personal service and exciting game-viewing opportunities.
Originally built in 1932, the en-suite accommodation is enhanced by large windows and the rooms include a wardrobe, a deep bathtub and tea-making facilities.
An in-room buzzer alerts guests to animals visiting the waterhole during the night, a sight which can be enjoyed from the comfort of your room.
The top terrace hosts a large viewing deck, while the lower deck and basement floor allow for a closer view and photographic opportunities.
This lodge-on-stilts is accessed through a gradual ramp to the top floor and a large tree grows right through the building. All meals and drinks can be enjoyed in the lounge, restaurant or bar.
Lying on the path of an ancient migratory route between the Aberdare Ranges and Mount Kenya National Park, Treetops is strategically situated in front of a natural watering hole and a salt pan.
