Tree Tops View Loge

Tree Tops View Lodge is a fully self-catering family bush house situated in the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve near Bela Bela.

The house was built by a nature loving family. Now you as well, can enjoy the bush and its animals. The lodge is not a usual thatched game reserve holiday home, but it has a strong European character and is very light and airy.

The lodge has four double bedrooms and two bathroom en-suites, as well as a large dining area and a fully-equipped open kitchen.

The front of the house with the lounge, opens up completely with concertina doors to an open deck with a swimming pool and a braai area.

The open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge provides a grand space and becomes part of the outside if all concertina doors are open.

It's a perfect getaway for a group of friends or family.

This lodge is regularly visited by several game species and as the deck is raised, you have a fantastic game viewing opportunity and at night, superb star gazing.

We welcome all our guests with open arms but we do request the highest respect for nature (as well the animals as the bush) and our property.

The Tree Tops View Lodge is not available for parties (matriculations parties, year-end functions, birthday parties, bachelor parties etc.) as the noise disturbs the neighbors and bush life. This is a place to relax and to enjoy nature.

When you are spoiling yourself to a breakaway to the ?Tree Tops View Lodge?, the following is available.

Inside, all linen and bathroom towels, kitchen appliances which include a dishwasher, electrical and gas stove, electrical oven, two fridges and one large freezer as well as a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave oven, coffee filter machine and a toaster.

We also offer TV with a DVD player and DStv (bring your own smartcard)

Outside, is a swimming pool with a net cover, braai and grid and a steel fire pit with a big family umbrella.

We do not supply swimming pool towels, a baby bed/cot, DStv smartcard or firewood.

The Lodge will be pre-cleaned before arrival of the guests as there is no daily servicing.

The Bela Bela area is also known for all the available activities.

By day you can lounge next to the pool or you can visit the nearby Cheetah Rehabilitation Centre, enjoy interactions with elephants at Zebula Lodge or enjoy a half- day zipline adventure in the Waterbergen.

Close to the lodge, Mabalingwe back gate is ?Elements Golf course'. A magnificent 18 holes course with restaurant facilities. (Closed on Tuesdays.)

Also a few kilometers up the road you will find excellent ?Zebula Golf Estate and Spa'.



As the lodge is in the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, you can drive around and do some game spotting (4 x 4 trails available).

Guests of the Tree tops View Lodge are welcome to use the ?Big 5' Mabalingwe Game Reserve facilities and activities (this list of activities is copied from the Mabalingwe website. The booking management of the Tree Top View Lodge is not responsible for any non-availability of activities such as, Game Drives ?Big 5,'Lion Feeding Drives, horse riding, heated and cold swimming pools, tennis courts, mini golf putt, squash court, sauna and Jacuzzi as well as , archery, 4X4 trails, paintball and abseiling.
