Trio Sands Guest House is situated in the quaint beach village of Gonubie, which is located on the beautiful estuary of the Gonubie River.

The sea-facing guest house offers guests a choice of staying in seven lovely rooms that are all equipped with TVs and DStv, fans and tea and coffee facilities. The En-suite Double Rooms have shower-only bathrooms and are furnished with either a king-size or twin beds, while the Single Rooms share a bathroom with a shower only and are furnished with double beds.

Guests can cool down in the inviting pool in summer, relax in the Jacuzzi or take a short walk down to the lovely beach. For business travellers, the guest house also has an air-conditioned conference room that can accommodate up to 40 delegates. The Kings Shopping Mall is also situated within a short drive.

The lovely beach enjoys a Blue Flag status and when the tide is out, the lagoon is the perfect place for exploring. East London is a short drive away and offers various attractions and activities.

Broken furniture, missing lampshades, no soap, had to request towels. no complimentary coffee or tea, need I say more, not on my recommended list of places to stay!

Establishment's response

Firstly I would like to sincerely apologise to the guest for the concerns he raised and again thank him for raising them. About the tea station, we do not keep them in the rooms for hygiene purposes but do offer them upon arrival. I am also disapponted that there were no towels and soaps and will definately follow this up with the staff. Our bed side lamps are not shaded by design and I am more than happy to change them if my guests are not happy. Once again, my sincere apologies ,and to compensate for this, I am more than happy to offer the guest a free weekend for free and promise these should never happen again.
