The startle of the impala, the shriek of a monkey in an Umbrella thorn tree and the gracious sweeping movement of the giraffe as it bends down to drink from the watering hole nestled under the magnificent marula trees. Besides catching a glimpse of the activity at the watering hole, the rooms also look up at the majestic Ubizane Hill.
A beautiful lodge with a heritage spanning over 40 years, Safari Lodge is scattered around the spacious rolling lawns dotted with aged aloes, replanted from different areas on the farm, as well as scented thorn trees providing a beautiful backdrop to the setting. Rondavel-style rooms all face the constant watering hole nestled under the marula trees quenching in the thirst of the giraffe, zebra, nyala, impala, and kudu. The watering hole is also lit at night giving a possible glimpse of animals roaming around in the dark.
There is a variety of different styled rooms at Safari Lodge, all of them with our trademark glass panelled sliding doors, allowing not an inch of nature escaping without being noticed by the guests from within the rooms. All rooms are fully self-catering, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and a private patio with comfortable furniture.
Safari Lodge has a swimming pool area, communal braai's and a boma with a bonfire pit which can be used on request. We do not charge any additional costs for the use of the boma but we do however limit them to only be used for guests of minimum three people. We charge a per person per night rate and extra for additional guests.
