Valhalla is an exquisite little guest house virtually on the beach at Uvongo, centrally placed between Margate (4Kms), St Michael's (2Kms), and Shelly Beach (4Kms). We offer comfort and luxury in three double rooms, all with their own bathroom. King size beds, ceiling fans, DStv and free Wi-Fi. Each room is equipped with a small fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster (crockery/cutlery) for our guests' convenience - however, the facilities are not suitable for the preparation of large family meals. All the rooms are suitable for a couple sharing, Rooms 2 also has a sofa bed suitable for a child under 12 years, and Room 3 has three bunk beds suitable for children under 12 years. Each room opens up through large glass doors onto the pool/patio area, which is set in a private and secure court-yard type garden. Braai facilities are available for guests. Guests may safely park within a motorized gate, and enjoy this haven of peace and tranquiity which is just a two minute walk to the beach, and within a short drive of activities such as boat trips, sea fishing trips, shark cage diving and scuba diving, several well-known golf courses, game parks and nature reserves, shopping malls and of course, the Wild Coast Casino.

Wonderful stay by

We had the most wonderful stay at Valhalla. Val the owner's establishment is beautiful, neat and spotless. Her hospitality and breakfasts won't be beat anywhere on the South Coast. Walking distance to the beach and a short drive to all the other mayor beaches and amenities. The 'entertainment committee' i.e. 2 beautiful black labs kept my 5year old entertained in the pool for hours. We are dog people and it was so pleasant to have them around. We will be back and I will highly recommend anybody to stay at Valhalla.

Stay at Valhalla B&B by

The room is quite comfortable and enjoyable however there are no sea views from any of the rooms - the guesthouse is 2 streets away from the beach and not 'virtually on the beach' as the advertisement reads. We have two small children who enjoyed the pool and the owner's dogs immensely. Although our room was cleaned everyday, cleanliness was not the best - upon packing up after our stay, we found old ladies underwear in the top cupboard and the bed underneath had not been cleaned in a while. The DSTV is the business package, thus not much variety. The WIFI only works when close to the owner's part of the house, thus not in the room.
