Villa-Roux is a lovely 85 square meter free standing and self catering garden cottage that sleeps maximum 4 people, situated in a quiet and safe Franschhoek neighbourhood . The price per night varies according to occupancy. The price for 2 people is for the sharing of a room, although the whole cottage is to their disposal. A bedding fee is applicable should 2 people require sleeping in separate rooms.
The cottage, one of the few in the actual town, is located approximately 800 m from the town centre. Located downstairs is the master en suite bedroom as well as an open-plan dining area and fully equipped kitchenette. We provide complimentary tea/coffee/sugar both upstairs and downstairs. A fairly steep staircase leads to the spacious room upstairs which features twin beds and an en suite bathroom. The lounge area is also situated upstairs and it leads onto the balcony, with patio furniture and a Webber braai.(Please bring your own charcoal,firelighters and matches) From the balcony guests have breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards and mountains.Plates,cutlery,glasses,and barbecue tongs are provided upstairs. The flat screen TV with satellite programs and a mini hi-fi is also upstairs.Guests have access to free wi-fi throughout the flat. Bedding,towels and shower gel are provided, and the unit is serviced daily, if required. Guests carry the full responsibility for the safety of children. Franschhoek is known as the gourmet capital with an excess of delicious restaurants, cafes and wineries to choose from. The charming main street of Franschhoek is packed with small galleries and shops suiting all types of budgets.If you're in the vicinity in July, try to visit Franschhoek over the weekend closest to Bastille Day, 14th July, when the village celebrates its French heritage with a wine and gourmet fair and lots, lots more.Parking off site in the turning area of the dead end road in front of Villa-Roux is quite safe. Parking in a locked garage can be provided on request at an additional cost of R60 per night.

Lovely getaway by

We enjoyed our weekend in this comfortable self-catering accommodation in a quiet cul-de-sac. It was well-equipped and it was lovely to have a separate lounge with a balcony giving a beautiful view of the mountain. Magdalena was friendly and welcoming.

Our stay at Villa-Roux was fantastic. From the moment we arrived and were met at the gate by Dalena, until the time we left, we felt at home. This is definitely a place we would visit again and would recommend it highly to anyone visiting Franschhoek.
