The Village Guesthouse And Restaurant lies tucked away in the bountiful valley of Ceres, situated within walking distance of the farmers markets and many other attractions in the country.

In 2000 the property consisted of four rooms and a restaurant, today accommodation consists of 20 tastefully decorated en-suite bedrooms, all with air-conditioning, DStv and wireless Internet, as well as separate entrances facing a quiet and central courtyard.

Relax in the shade of the old oak tree or enjoy a drink in our intimate bar as you wait for dinner at our fully licensed á la carte restaurant. The reputation of our restaurant has grown at the same rate as our well-appointed rooms in the past years. Our highly professional staff bid our guests a hearty welcome and strive to make all our guest's stay a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

So spend those long hot summer days bathing in our refreshing pool, going over your day's endeavors in this beautiful part of the country.

Really enjoyed our stay, very friendly host and felt welcome and every thing was perfect.

In the begining of December we made an reservation for 1 en 2 jan. 2013, but on the second of January I got an pacemaker in an hospital in Holland. We have already very good experiences with this guesthouse!

Friendly, helpful staff made our stay very pleasant. Beautifullly kept clean grounds, despite the horrific drought we are suffering. Lovely restaurant food, served with a smile. I shall certainly recommend The Village Guesthouse to others and will stay there again when in the area.

Ons het vroeer ingeboek en Franquin was so vriendelik om vir ons die sleutels te gee. Ons het dadelik weer vertrek na die trou venue en die familie. Saterdagaan half 12 was ons terug by gaste huis, maar die remote vir die hek wou nie werk nie. Gelukkig was daar 2 dames wat op dieselfde tyd van 'n ander troue afgekom het, wat die hek vir ons oopgemaak het. Verder het ons baie lekker gebly met baie vriendelike personeel. Ek gaan van die veronderstelling uit die bestuurder van die gastehuis moet op die perseel woon. Toe ons nie die hek kon oopkry, het ons die klokkie gelui en ook gebel maar geen reaksie gekry. Soos ek se gelukkig het die 2 dames daar opgedaag. Baie dankie nogmaals. Groete Wilna

Commission problems by

The Village Guest house lived up to its claims. Rooms were good, staff friendly and efficient and restaurant food was great. The only thing that spoilt our stay was discovering that R670 of the bill was in actual fact the commission charged by Safarinow. 25% over and above the normal rate of the establishment is exorbitant. Will not be using them again in the future.
