VULTURE CREEK BEWERTUNGEN (70 %) Quaint and charming by Kelly Germs, South Africa Sunday, 14 July 2013 Pros: conveniently situated, very peaceful in a lovely setting under the mountains.
Value for money.
Nice patio area.
Close to most attractions in the area.
Cons: a bit inconvenient to get to the bathroom from the loft bedroom.
Could have done with more blankets (went in winter).
A bit cramped if spending a lot of time indoors.
No shower.
Specialised paint techniques excluded, the cottage could do with a coat of paint where renovations have been done.
Workers fixing the driveway next to the cottage started banging and clanging at 8 a.m.
But all round value for money and charming. Amazing! by Leisel Ackerley, South Africa Monday, 24 February 2014 We had a wonderful stay at Vulture's Creek. Johan and Estelle were incredibly accommodating and the house was perfect for us. The pictures on the site don't do it justice. Capital Stud Auction weekend by Peta Elion 20 November 2017 Only 1 Fan, 2nd bedroom very warm. Vulture Creek by Andrea Verreyne 14 January 2018 For R800 a night, the room was very basic. We went because we had a wedding to attend but there was nowhere to even hang our outfits. The temperatures were in the 30's but there was not one window to open for fresh air. There was a fan but it was inadequate. Quiet one night stop over by Dagan Le Roux 27 August 2018 We only stayed for one night. The peace and quite was really nice and listening to the wild life at night was relaxing. The honeymoon unit was decent but there were a few annoying things. The water pressure was very inconsistent which resulted in water exploding all of the kitchen when opening the taps. The shower was mediocre with water landing up all over the bathroom floor due to the lack of a shower door. The unit was not cleaned well enough, as I found a previous visitors hair on the pillow and the duvet had marks on it. The bathroom floor was also dirty due to the dusty season (August) we visited in. There is potential in this unit, but it needs some work. VULTURE CREEK LAGE
