Vultures Lodge is uniquely located at the foot of ?Aasvoëlberg', with breath taking views of the town and surrounding Maluti Mountains.

We offer you affordable AA Superior graded lodging, friendly and personal service, with exclusive outfitted double en-suite rooms, each with satellite television, private patios and outside entrances. We also feature historic cottages fully equipped for self-catering.

The lodge was named in honor of the numerous Cape Vultures that inhabited there area. Aasvoëlberg, which means ?The Mountain of the vultures' earned its name from a natural bridge in the mountain which resembles the eye of a vulture.

Come and enjoy the quiet and tranquil atmosphere, while having a buffet breakfast in our elegant dining room, or enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee on our lovely terrace.

I, my wife and our daughter stay over the 3rd of January 2014. The food and everything was of the highest standard.



What a nice place to stay!  We had a wonderful quiet night in a nice cottage, situated in Brokskloof.  Beautiful outlook ons Aasvoël mountain. Friendly people and a really good breakfast.  Surely we will return for a longer visit.

The ambience by

We could not get supper there because we had not prebooked. We were advised to go to a local restaurant, which was great. On our return we found that we had been locked out, and it took a while before the door was unlocked for us. Also the last bit of road leading to the Inn needs improvement.

The Cleanliness by

We had a great stay. It was very nice and clean. Will stay there again if we pass through.
