Wetlands Guesthouse is situated in the large town of Kempton Park on the East Rand in Gauteng.

The guest house has eight queen-size rooms and one twin room. Each room features an en-suite bathroom, DStv, Wi-Fi Internet access, Bar fridges, fans, safes and tea and coffee facilities. The property also offers guests braai facilities, laundry services, an indoor fireplace in the communal area and secure parking on the premises.

Kempton Park has many great attractions around the area, including the Kempton Park Golf Club, the Boksburg Lake and Korsman Bird Sanctuary.

lovely scenery by

Lovely scenery and room but the breakfast was a bit dissapointing. We werent given an option of what we wanted. They should rather have a buffet type breakfast where they just adjust the food quantuty based in the number of guests.

Disappointed by

We were really disappointed about the guesthouse.... When we arrived they took us to reception. It was smelly and not clean at all. They took us to a room but first grab a fridge (for which we were very thankful) from another room and put it in our room. We were four adults and we booked 2 rooms but when we asked where the other room is they were surprised to learn that four adults can not sleep on a double bed. The second room was not ready and there were moth balls in the bathroom. When we started to unpack we realized the fridge was filthy!! When we want to make coffee the cockroaches ran from underneath the kettle. There were rubbish thrown into the drawers because the dust bin was broken - if we had time to go and find another guesthouse we would have. We never had breakfast - can not imagine what the kitchen look like! We wanted to stay an extra night but decided against it and when we left the Friday morning they waited for us and want us to pay for it. It was a great disappointment. Can not recommend Wetlands.
