Wind&Wave Leopard Toad Hall is situated in the picturesque town of Kommetjie, a mere thirty minutes' drive from Cape Town, Kommetjie offers sandy beaches on the wild Cape Point coast line.This charming cottage is the ideal place for guests looking to surf, kite-board, wind-surf, paraglide, hike or do one the many other outdoor activities the area offers. The self-catering cottage is open-plan leading out to a lovely patio and garden. The bathroom has a bath inside and there is a hot outdoor shower, perfect for after the surf or swim. Arrive and don't drive anywhere as it is only a 200-meter walk to beach and a short walk to the mountain and quaint restaurants.

Enter Kommetjie and you'd be forgiven for thinking you've traveled much further from the city that you did. It is in permanent holiday mode, unassuming, simple and relaxed.

Wind&Wave is much the same, just what we needed to get away from it all for a weekend, very clean, nicely located and very relaxed evening with some wine next to the braai.

The long stretch of beach within easy walking distance was thoroughly enjoyed, especially by our puppy.

Many other friendly pups to socialize with on those walks too.
