When visiting Westbrook Beach, one of the certified blue flag beaches, it is deemed to be safe, clean, environmentally sound, and have adequate facilities and services for tourists, with professional lifeguards on duty; it is also safe to swim. There is nothing like a great picnic, or nice walk on a sandy well-maintained beach.

To explore the area take the kids to the rock pools and see the starfish and feel how slimy and strange the sea-cucumbers feel and watch the whelks make their way slowly along the rocks.

Westbrook Beach is also close to Gateway and La Lucia retail centres and situated between Ballito, one of the most desirable holiday locations in South Africa is undoubtedly and La Mercy a secluded little village, being on the KwaZulu Natal Coast, also known as the Dolphin Coast.
