Die Plaas Windhoek is situated on a 234-hectare farm, which mainly consists of grasslands, on the outskirts of Bloemfontein. The biggest asset of this Free State Farm is it's private location and serene silence, which gives it a peaceful atmosphere which is hard to find anywhere else! The property comprises of an old Farm House which serves as a Guest House with three rooms and 12 camping spots around the house. The guest house rooms feature wooden floors and ceilings, en-suite or shared bathrooms and antique furnishings; and the campsites feature shared ablutions as well as wash-up facilities. The farm also offers guests Wi-Fi Internet access, braai amenities, a swimming pool (concrete dam), and parking on the premises. Please note that there is no electricity on the farm as gas, batteries and solar energy are used.Attractions on the farm include a scenic view of the typical Free State plains from the surrounding hills, wood fossils and antiquities, such as old farm implements, of which some are still working.Untouched nature at it's best!!
