Diepkloof is situated in a beautiful nature reserve, about 15 km from Nieu Bethesda. This is the ideal place for a journey of peace and tranquillity, with endless nature and open spaces at your fingertips.

We offer four unique Karoo lodges with self-catering facilities. The main house has a lovely library with a fireplaces, and an art studio for groups. There are only limited Wi-Fi access and cell phone reception available. All meals can be arranged upon request.

Guests can take a dip in the large swimming pool, fed by a mountain stream. Walking around in the fields are guaranteed to finding fossils and close contact with animals.

Lovely people, special place!!!

Long Weekend Stay (Anniversary Dec 2016) by

WoW!! What a wonderful stay. Place is majestic and hosts were totally awesome, nothing too much for them. Definitely recommend for people looking for quiet getaway time away from Modern day hustle & bustle.

Revitalizing food for your soul by

The remoteness of the Diepkloof farm offers an escape from the hustle and bustle and allows one to experience the magical beauty of the Klein Karoo.
Ton and Marinka immediately makes you feel welcome and treat you as friends.
The accommodation is simple, clean and comfortable.

Best Karoo stay on a farm by

Our family had a wonderful New Years eve stay (2 nights) @ Diepkloof near Nieu Bethesda. The cottage had 2 spacious bedrooms and everything was neat and clean! We had awesome views on the blue mountains and bright blue sky during the day from our cottage and stoep and spectacular views of the stars @ night! Our family also attended the Light Festival @ town on 31 December - a nice concert presented by the people of the community and a walk with the lanterns around town. The kids enjoyed this activity, from choosing their own lanterns and carrying their own lanterns -although it was a rather long walk!
We also visited The Owl house and had a ride on Jacob's " Donkiekar". We had visited Nieu Bethesda a couple of times before - but it is so enjoyable to come back each time. We had a precious family time.
The hosts at the farm - Marinka and Ton - were very friendly and helpful.

The remoteness and privacy by

The house and setting is absolutely perfect. I will not change anything. It might need more blankets when winter really sets in.
