Driver's Deck is a spacious self-catering house situated in Southbroom, with stunning views over the Indian Ocean and only a short drive or leisurely walk to the beach.

The house consists of three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with laundry facilities, two private lounge areas, a TV room and a dining area. There is a sunny deck area with a swimming pool and lovely views over the ocean. The house can be fully serviced at an extra cost, arranged on request. A double lock-up garage will provide safe parking.

There is an attached cottage sleeping two guests consisting of a private bedroom, a bathroom and a lounge area. There is 24-hour armed-response security in the area and the property is very private. The yard is completely fenced, which makes it pet friendly.

Southbroom is a small and charming village located in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal's Hibiscus Coast. It has unspoilt beaches with a superb climate and lush vegetation.

It was a fantastic and well equipped holiday house.
I enjoyed every morning and afternoon sitting on the deck and watching the whales, dolphins, birds and monkeys (do take binoculars).
It comfortably accommodated our whole family both young and old.
It truly was a memorable holiday and I would definitely recommend this property.

I would also like to mention that Nosipho and Peter the house staff were amazing and always had a smile on their faces.

Great home away from home with sea View by

The best things about driver's deck are that it has a fantastic sea view, every room in the house opens onto the pool and it is a quick walk to a long Beach for great beach walks AND last but very importantly it is dog friendly.

We loved our stay here in January. The weather was miserable but at least the pool and sea views meant we felt like we were away and could enjoy our trip. The house is homely, and has all that you need. It is nice but not fancy. Would definitely go back and recommend.

The pool is a central point and really makes the house but not ideal for babies who are at crawling stage or kids who can't swim. (They do have a net which can be put on).

Big steep garden, great for dogs and kids to play in.

Golf course is also 2 minutes away.

We loved the house with the view . Lots of equipment was available...we didnt have to bring a thing. the toaster was not working but we just used the grill. The only negative thibg was that the cupboards werent clean in the kitchen, and some of the crockety was chipped and cracked.
