Elephant Pepper Camp

Elephant Pepper Camp is a small and exclusive traditional tented camp, hidden in a grove of elephant pepper trees overlooking the Mara plains in the heart of the protected Mara North Conservancy wilderness area. In this prime and secluded game viewing area, Elephant Pepper Camp offers the discerning traveller an authentic yet luxurious safari experience. The camp is located in the middle of a 3,600 square km wilderness within the protected Koiyaki wilderness area, away from other lodges.

Nothing rivals sitting around the camp fire enjoying the sounds of the African night, while extended game drives which continue into the evening make game viewing a complete experience. Elephant Pepper Camp brings people back to nature, no traffic, no permanent structures, just the sights and sounds of the African bush. Intimate and exclusive with only eight tents, the camp is located away from any other lodges, in the heart of the African bush. Our spacious canvas tents are comfortably furnished, featuring en-suite bathrooms with eco-friendly flush toilets and traditional safari showers.

Activities include day and night drives, guided bush walks, bush breakfasts, sun downers, and cultural visits. In order to preserve this special area the camp is seasonal and closes for two months of the year.
