Elgro River Lodge

Elgro River Lodge is a true African experience set away from the hustle and bustle, located on a bend of unexpected beauty on the Vaal River, about 30 km from Potchefstroom.

The Main Lodge has nine beautiful self-catering riverside units, fully equipped with access to the swimming pool and walking distance to the lapa and bar area.

Owl's Cottage can accommodate up to 30 guests. This cottage has its own swimming pool and conference facility. The cottage consists of four bedrooms, two bathrooms, one separate toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with DStv access and a braai area.

Elgro River Lodge has conference facilities for up to 60 delegates, with all the necessary equipment to make your conference a hassle free experience. The lapa overlooking the river is the perfect place to host private parties, weddings or year-end functions for up to 80 guests.

Activities on the farm include game drives, Mampoer tastings, river rafting, bird watching, mountain biking, fly fishing, 3D traditional archery and team building events. All activities are guided by our qualified staff that will ensure a great experience.
