Roodepoort means ?red valley? in Afrikaans after the red soil found in this area. It is now a mix of residential suburbs, agricultural holdings and mining in the south of Roodepoort.
The guest house has three bedrooms with double beds and en-suite bathrooms with baths and showers. All bedrooms have DStv and a fully equipped kitchenette. There is a lovely garden with a sparkling swimming pool and a lapa with a braai area. We have safe and secure parking under the carport.
The inner city is awash with hawkers and street stalls, completely multiracial and undergoing a total regeneration. The sprawling malls and restaurant-lined avenues are attractive to visitors and residents alike.
