The Emerald Resort and Casino is the ideal place to have some fun while in Vanderbijlpark. It offers a wide selection of activities to cater to every guest. It is also home to the Emerald Bush Lodges, an ideal option for couples and groups looking for a great getaway.

There are 10 rustic cabins, of which some can sleep up to two guests and some can sleep up to four guests. These cabins also have private bathrooms, comfortable living spaces and well-equipped kitchens. The outside deck offers lovely views of the surrounding area.

Set within a pine forest, an additional log cabin is available for guests hoping for a more luxurious stay. One en-suite bedroom has a double bed while the other en-suite bedroom has two single beds. Guests can enjoy a braai outside, or simply unwind on the deck while appreciating views of the natural beauty of this area.

The resort offers a variety of activities for guests to delight in. These include rock climbing, swimming or relaxing at the spa. Children will also have plenty to do such as visiting the zoo, the toy shop or splashing around at the indoor Aquadome.

I stayed at both the bush lodge and the self catering apartments. I loved the self catering apartments as it was cosy and felt like a home away from home.
